I got into OSU with a 3Dec 21 2011Political Science
I got into OSU with a 3.9 GPA and no extracurriculars. From what I hear, you need at least a 3.5 (preferably higher) to get in. OSU's definitely not the safety school it used to be (Kent is the new OSU).

Sign up early decisionJul 20 2011Engineering Department
Sign up early decision. Get into the Engineering select group. More fun more chances to bond with classmates you will hang with after graduation for years to come.
do nightly homework+extra credit+take AP classes and place out of core classes. Get into classes that interest you in your major + minor at osu. get more than one degree. Get ready for Graduate Studies
Doing sports+joining after school clubs + community service for High school kids + volunteering work with kids in need or animals at the pound or soup kitchen. All this helped me feel good about my self and kept me from getting into trouble like other kids in my neighborhood. I have real friends not drinking drugging frustrated angry fighting peers with no imagination. My friends find solutions + understand others making mistakes. We all learn from our mistakes. Mistakes are needed to experience to acquire knowledge fearlessly. Do your best. Make good choices and I will see you here. get a job on campus. You will be glad you did.

Fill out the FAFSA, complete the application before theJul 26 2007Mechanical Engineering
fill out the FAFSA, complete the application before the honors /early deadline, get good grades, do well on SAT or ACT. OSU is becoming tougher and tougher to get into every year. People with 3.7 high school GPAs are not getting in, so do something extracurricular to set yourself apart from the average student whether its test scores, essay answers on the application, or activities and accomplishments resume
